I wanted to verify a quote I was going to share with someone, to make sure I was remembering the exact wording correctly, so I Googled it. The quote is…
“Infinite patience brings immediate results.”
I was somewhat horrified to see a gazillion websites attributing this powerful quote to Wayne Dyer. It is direct from ACIM (A Course in Miracles) which was originally published in 1976. After a court battle, there is no longer a copyright on ACIM so I guess Wayne Dyer has the right to use it as his own if he wants to. It just seems a bit sad and misleading to me.
As long as the quote conveys the message, it doesn’t matter who owns the copyright. Let’s just enjoy it for what it is 🙂
