The web is full of places where you can get hypnosis courses. The question is, how do you choose the right ones for YOU. Choosing hypnosis courses is a bit like shopping for clothes! It’s true, take a look at this:
You have the cheap stuff, that sells for very little money, and usually, you get what you pay for and regret it down the line. On the other hand of the spectrum, you have very expensive programs, that are multiple sessions and range in the hundreds of dollars. Now you should be wary of highly expensive programs, because it is simply not normal for a product to be as expensive as a real hypnosis session.
Ok, let’s say you’ve found a good one, not too expensive, and doesn’t look like its cheap stuff. What’s next? Well, check the site for RELIABILITY. Does the site look like its abandoned, or that its not maintained properly? Might be a sign that it’s not a reliable place to get your courses from. On the contact page, does it provide you with multiple options to contact them? If you can only email them, be VERY careful! Actually, it is my biggest pet peeve when ordering anything online; if i do not see a phone number, I move on right away. If I don’t see an address, I find some other place. It’s important to know who you are dealing with. Yes, it’s the web, but we are still humans.
Ok, so you found a keeper with full contact info! Alright, next: Can you preview the courses? This is a BIG point to consider. And let me tell you why. For research, I do listen to other courses out there, and let me tell you, some voices are just terrible! I can only imagine someone ordering and just being completely appalled at the voice they are hearing. That’s not fun at all, because what makes a good hypnosis course is the voice. That’s the instrument, and just like singing, some have it, and some don’t, plain and simple.
In today’s web environment, there is no excuse for a reputable company not to offer previews in mp3 format for example. It is important for you the end user, to find a voice that fits with you. Would you buy a music CD without knowing what the artist sounds like? Of course not! Same with hypnosis. If you can’t preview from a seemingly reputable company, then there must be a reason why…in other words, the courses don’t sound good.
Now, it is good to have a money-back guarantee. Any seller that stands behind their products will gladly provide this. However, and I have actually done some research on this, the longer this guarantee appears to you, the more you should proceed with caution. Strange isn’t, but it’s true. For example, if you are being offered a lifetime warranty or a 1 year warranty, that’s merely a selling tactic. It’s to get you to think that you can refund them pretty much anytime you want, and thus make you more likely to buy it. The problem is, once you actually want a refund! These companies will make you go all over the place to get you a refund and that is even if they give you one in the end. As well, you should know that no matter what product, after 90 days (some even 30 days), your credit card company cannot do anything, so if the seller says no, there is nothing you can do about it. I speak from experience, I’ve been burned before but that’s a whole other post! Lesson to learn from this: If it’s too good to be true, it usually is!
So if you get courses from a reliable company, where the courses sound wonderful from the samples, and you are not manipulated with “out of this world” type warranties, then the next step is for you to enjoy your new courses and improving yourself 😉
